EMODnet is a network of organisations working together to observe the sea, to make the marine data collected freely available and interoperable, to create seamless data layers across sea-basins and to distribute the data and data products through the Internet. The primary aim of EMODnet is to unlock existing but fragmented and hidden marine data and make them accessible for a wide range of users including private bodies, public authorities and researchers.

Seascape Belgium seeks to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Finances and EU Contracts Officer to strengthen its professional and dynamic team based in Brussels, Belgium.
The successful candidate will have experience with financial management and reporting, administration of projects and contracts and ability to administer the human resources of a small but growing team of Seascape experts. The post holder will primarily be responsible for keeping the accounts up to date, producing financial and budget reports, contribute to human resource administration and assist with project management and administration (50%). Depending on the interest and availability of the candidate, the scope and remit could be extended to a full time position including support to delivery of outputs of selected Seascape Belgium projects and activities (optional).
